These guys are adorable, and harmless except that they will make your hands stink.
I loved these snakes as a kid. One of my proudest moments as a little girl was when I was in a group and someone noticed a snake in the grass and screamed. A man in his 20s started to “take care of” the snake but he got scared too. I looked at the snake, noticed it was just a ring neck snake, and then I, an 8-year-old girl, simple went and picked up the snake in front of everyone.
