Back to the Roots Mushroom Kit

First of all, I do realize that mushrooms are plants, not animals. However, this is such a cool thing that I had to share it.

It's great how they use the coffee grounds to create the mulch. I wonder how difficult it would be to grow mushrooms. I've always wanted to have a garden, but I have a black thumb and time doesn't permit me to tend most gardens as they should be tended. 

Could mushrooms be the plant for me? I love mushrooms on pizza and in salads or on sandwiches. I need to look into this possibility a little further!

I need to find out more about hardy, edible plants that I could grow, or edible plants that I could easily grow indoors without much trouble.
