Ornery Photography: Striped Rabbit

This image was captured 17 January 2017 at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. You are welcome to use it, but please credit me.

Here is what the sign beside the rabbit says:
New Discovery
Researchers don't yet know enough about this new species of rabbit to say whether or not it is endangered. But the forests of Laos and Vietnam where the rabbits live are being extensively logged and the animals are heavily hunted--two factors that could quickly and dramatically reduce the population of this newly discovered mammal.

And there you have it. Humans ruin everything.

Sadly I would bet my bottom dollar it IS endangered.
I am very, very rarely proud of our species.

Hello,

The bunny is cute, it is a shame they could be endangered. Thanks for sharing your link! Enjoy your day, have a great new week! PS, I appreciate the visit and comment on my blog.
EC,
While some people are fine, humans as a species are the most violent and destructive on the planet.

Eileen,
You're welcome. I always enjoy your photos.
Does it endanger a species to put one of its members in a glass case in a museum? :)
MMT,
It would, but I don't think this one is real.
