cat learn pretty well you just have to be more patient.
I had two cats learn how to open doors just by watching us do it. If it involves something they want, they will pay close attention when someone else does a thing and gets the desired reward or outcome, and they’ll learn it.
What a clever kitty!
My older cat has learned that if she wants to sit on the deck, she has to wear her outdoor clothes (harness). Now when I get it out for her, she sticks her head in the collar and almost lifts her leg to get through the body strap, and purrs while it’s being put on - and she was never keen on it before.
