Feline Friday: Dedicated to Malcolm Young

Team Netherworld recently learned the sad news that AC/DC's rhythm guitarist and founder, Malcolm Young, has been stricken with a very fast-moving form of dementia. At only 61 years old, his wife had to place him in long-term care because she was unable to adequately care for him. His short term memory is totally wiped; he no longer remembers things that happened just minutes before, and he doesn't recognize those people that he loves best in the world.
We know this must be devastating for Malcolm's brother Angus. These guys were not only brothers but best friends. I wrote about their bond in this tribute piece on the KHEL 666 music and entertainment page.
Malcolm was one of the nicest, most real people in the music industry. He certainly doesn't deserve this.
We trust that no-one is fool enough to bring any sort of Satanic Panic into this. That bullshit was good for a laugh but was also vicious and disgusting. We won't put up with it.

Indeed a sad thing, I felt much the same about Linda Ronstadt and her Parkinson's diagnosis. No one deserves diseases but sadly they are a fact of life.
I thought the cat piece was cute.

Thank you, Ida. I too was saddened by Linda Ronstadt's struggle. Unfortunately, it seems the truth about life is that you don't get what you deserve, you get what you get. Words of wisdom from Dr. Greg House.
