McDonald's U.S. Opposes 5% Cage-Free Eggs, While McDonald's Europe Commits To 100% Cage-Free


Animals that are treated humanely, not confined to tiny cages or pumped full of antibiotics to try and prevent the diseases that animals forced into cramped "living" quarters, are healthier. Therefore their meat, eggs, or milk will be healthier for the consumers. From a strictly self-interested point of view, it would be better for us to treat our livestock humanely. Meat, eggs, and milk from factory farms is unhealthy.
